A Love Blossoming: Gabby and Sean's Intimate Wedding at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia
One sweet Saturday in March, nestled within the tranquil expanse of the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, Gabby and Sean embarked on a journey of love and commitment in an intimate wedding ceremony held in the garden's chapel.
The day started in the depths of the Chapel as these two got ready to embark on their new chapter as husband and wife. With the serene overcast setting, deep in the woods of the garden, the two whimsical birds chirping and singing inside, the intricately-carved wooden and glass doors, the white hydrangeas lining the aisle, it was a lovely backdrop to the quiet pre-ceremony excitement.
By the time they said I do, and we stepped outside for portraits, the weather had transformed. What was supposed to be a drearily overcast, wet, rainy afternoon turned into a warm scene of tranquility, with sunlight streaming through the branches and dappling the ground below as we walked the grounds together.
We started in the conservatory, surrounded by lush tropical greenery, and made our way through the gardens, walking alongside the rows of tulips and other early spring bloomings. Lovely and perfectly intimate, the portraits portray every bit of joy felt through out that stroll. Having known each other nearly half of their lives, I was touched by their deep love for one another, and the way they intimately interacted in such a sweet gentle nature. I have the privilege of watching couples commit to forever almost every weekend, and there was something special about their connection---a graceful understanding and affection for one another. The sweet smiles, quiet giggles, genuine happiness in just being together. They are each other's person.
I'm honored and grateful for the opportunity to get to know these two, and watch them enter this new chapter of their lives as husband and wife.
